Guy Kirby Adkins, age 81, passed away Friday, January 30, 2026 at New Haven Assisted Living of Rockford. One of ten children of Charles and Alma M. (Orman) Adkins, he was born July 17, 1944 in Manistique, Michigan, and was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Air Force.
Guy is preceded in death by his parents; and six siblings, Charles Adkins, Wayne Adkins, Milford Adkins, Barbara Couture, Joyce McConnell, and Susan Engle.
He is survived by his son and daughter; three siblings, James Adkins of Manistique, MI, Robert Adkins of San Antonio, TX, and Nina Stapley of AZ; and many nieces and nephews.
