Suzan, I don´t think you had time to prepare your heart for a final goodbye. Everything happened so quickly. He sounds like a wonderful man.
I only met Guy twice at Pokeno, but he welcomed us into his home with a smile. God comfort you.

Yesterday
Guy was such a giving soul. He always helped the people and pets he befriended. He loved his wife and family dearly. He was devoted to his friends. He never met a stranger. It is hard to believe he is gone because he was so full of life. I will miss him.
Scott Saeger
Yesterday
Susan and family: Our hearts are so heavy with yours right now. Guy was one of a kind, and Meredith and I feel so fortunate to have had both of you as our neighbor and friend. From the very first day we moved in, Guy and Susan were at our door, welcoming us with open arms and making us feel like we'd lived here our whole lives. That's just who he was, he truly never met a stranger.
Guy's laugh, his stories, and that big personality made every conversation feel like the best part of the day. We'll miss seeing him out with Jake and Dottie, always ready with a story or a wave. He was the kind of man who made an entire neighborhood feel like family, and we are so grateful to be part of that family because of him.
We are thinking of you all and holding you close. Guy lived an extraordinary life, full of service, love, and laughter. His memory will stay with us always. With all our love.

We became good friends in the service, and even better after, laughing till your passing. We'll see you again! God speed my friend!

Guy, we only knew you for a few years, but you felt like family we had known forever. We love you so much, and you will truly be missed. Rest in peace, my friend.
