Guy David Eakin

Guy Eakin on March 25, 2025. He was born February 3, 1955, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Guy passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
A proud veteran, Guy honorably served in the Army, demonstrating courage, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to his country. Beyond his service, he was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life-especially singing his heart out at karaoke. Guy's voice and presence could light up any room.
He is survived by his loving wife Donna Eakin, his son Doug Eakin, his daughter Kristy Hail, his stepdaughter and husband Lisa and Patrick Shoemaker, and his adored grandchildren Zoey Crawford, Novaleigh Shoemaker, and Havyn Shoemaker who brought immense joy to his life. He also leaves behind his two brothers Bobby and wife Connie Eakin, Randy and wife Carol Eakin, and his sister Carol Littlehale who shared in a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love.
Guy was preceded in death by his father Guy Eakin, mother Alice Mayfield, and a brother Gary Eakin.
Guy's warmth, humor, and unwavering devotion to his family will forever remain in their hearts. While we grieve his passing, we also celebrate the life he lived and the impact he had on everyone who knew him. His spirit will live on in the songs he sang, the stories he shared, and the love he gave so freely.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday March 29th at Trinity Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, where friends and family can come together to honor his life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls in his memory.
