Guy Falcomata Obituary

Guy Falcomata, a 51-year resident of Hazel Park, died peacefully Saturday morning in William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. He was 88 years of age.

Mr. Falcomata was born on November 14, 1917 in Christopher, Il, a son of the late Pasgula and Mary (Williams) Falcomata. He was united in marriage to his loving wife, Betty McArthur, September 2, 1950 in Detroit. He served our country honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was presented the bronze star medal last year by the Hazel Park VFW for saving two lives during the war. Mr. Falcomata was a machinist for Devlieg Machine Company retiring in the early part of the 1980’s. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching sports. He loved the Lord and his church. He will be deeply missed by the many he has touched in his lifetime.

Mr. Falcomata is survived by his beloved wife of 55years, Betty; dearest children SuAnn and her husband Steven Rowland and Jeffrey and his wife Esther Falcomata; cherished Grandson, Nehemyah Caleb Falcomata, and one who was like a Grandson, Ryan; and loving sisters, Ann Marson, Phyllis Donelson, June Hess, and Hazel Perraqust. He was preceded in death by his brother Joe and sisters, Rose Donelson and Victoria Revello.

A funeral service will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 17017 12 Mile Rd., Roseville, on Wednesday at 11am with a 10am visitation. Burial will take place in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI. Arrangements entrusted to Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd., Fraser.
