92 year old, Guy O. Gray, of DeMotte, passed away December 12, 2024, with his loving family around him.
On February 10, 1932, in St. Petersburg, Florida, Guy was born to William and Leta (Middaugh) Gray. He graduated from Bridgeport, Illinois, class of 1950, home of the Bulldogs. Guy served in the U.S. Army, and he was a 150 Operator. He was a member of the Hebron Masonic Lodge #502.
Guy is survived by his children: Elizabeth ‘Liz’ (Rick) Dahm, and Guy (Denisa) Gray, 6 grandchildren: Samantha Jordan, Devin (Alyssa) Jordan, Riley Jordan, Evan Dahm, Emily Dahm, Bryce Gray, 2 great-grandchildren: Beckham Jordan and Carter Utley.
Guy was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Dorothy (Laramie) Gray, and daughter: Leta Gray, brother: Walter Gray, and sister: Francis Jamison.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 (noon) p.m. at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Masonic Services will take place at 12:00 (noon) Services for Guy will take place at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. (noon), interment will follow at the DeMotte Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Schriner’s Children’s Hospital.
