78 year old, Marlene G. Bilek, formerly of Rensselaer, passed away on February 11, 2026 in West Lafayette, with her loving family around her.
On June 6, 1947, Marlene was born to John ‘Buck’ Bunnell and Dorothy (Sterrett) Wilson, in Lafayette, Indiana. She worked as an EMT at Steinke’s Ambulance Service, as a pharmacy technician at Walgreens, and in supply for Jasper County Hospital. Marlene loved her children, her grandchildren, and her dogs. She enjoyed spending her time watching and shopping QVC.
Marlene is survived by her children: Todd (Rhonda) Bilek, Troy (Teresa) Bilek, grandchildren: Brittany and Brandon, and sister: Lou Ann (Carol Cook) Wilson.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother: Robert Mohler.
Per Marlene’s wishes cremation will take place.
