Guy M. Kensek

1953 - 2023

Guy M. Kensek, 69, of Buffalo Township, passed away peacefully, with his family at his side, Sunday, June 25, 2023, in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Aug. 14, 1953, in Indiana, a son of the late Michael J. and Mildred C. (Orr) Kensek. Guy was a 1972 graduate of Highlands High School. He retired as a repairman from Allegheny Ludlum Steel in Brackenridge. Guy was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, former Holy Martyrs Church, and was a former member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed tinkering around the house, word puzzles and spending time with his family. Guy is survived by his wife of 46 years, Deborah (Cupec) Kensek; brother, Daniel J. (Cindy) Kensek, of Natrona Heights; sister, Ann (Edward) Mell, of North Port, Fla.; brother-in-law, David (Melissa) Cupec, of Kittanning; sisters-in-law, Veronica "Ronnie" Cupec, of Tennessee, and Karen Taylor, of Georgia; nephews, Heath (Heather) Mell, Cory (Matt Bedick) Mell and Michael (Katie) Kensek; nieces, Corrin (Dave) Sergio and Calene (Sean) Baldwin; and great-nephews, Colton Mell, Ethan Mell, Gavin Mell and Oliver Baldwin. Funeral service and burial for Guy were private. Arrangements were under the care of the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME INC., Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688.
