Guy Mascio went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 20th, 2025 at home in North Olmsted, surrounded by family.

Born on July 25, 1941, in Rivisondoli, L'Aquila, Italy to the late Margherita and Angelo Mascio. Guy attended Benedictine HS, The Ohio State University, and Cleveland State University. After 32 years of teaching mathematics, Guy spent retirement visiting Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Italy every couple of years to explore, visit with cousins and childhood friends. He was active coordinating and playing tennis, golf, and bowling leagues. He greatly enjoyed watching the Browns, Guardians/Indians, Cavs, and his Beloved Buckeyes (Football & Basketball) He loved playing cards, especially bridge and poker. His second career of managing investments kept his mind sharp and engaged.

Guy is preceded in death by sister Maria Mascio and brother Anthony Mascio.

Guy is survived by his wife of 38 years, Donna Mascio, brother, William Mascio(Sara), sisters Anna "Dee" Mascio (Bob), Maria Mascio (Tom) and Laura Kegelmeyer (Phillip); nephews Matthew Mascio and Alex Mascio; son Kurtis Mascio (Weili), and grandchildren Autumn, Maximillian, and Genevieve.

Guy is laid to rest at Sunset Cemetery in North Olmsted, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to

This organization was huge in Guy's recovery from a back surgery that went awry and left him partially paralyzed and many disabled veterans, stroke victims, blind, and those acclimating to their new norm of life with prosthetics.
