Guy "Punch" Hugh Hammond

Mr. Guy “Punch” Hugh Hammond, 86, of Cumming passed Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family. Punch was born in Forsyth County to his parents, John Henry “Punch” and Ruby Holbrook Hammond. Punch was a hard-working mechanic who had a passion for working on old cars, loved racing, and cherished his family dearly. Punch is preceded in death by his loving wife, Vivian Millwood Hammond, parents, John Henry “Punch” and Ruby Holbrook, and siblings, Barbara Jean Martin (Emmitt) Hayward, Jamae, James, Katie Lee Wheeler, and Dot, as well as Marie Hammond.

Survivors include children and their spouses, Pamela Rawlins (Greg) and Phillip Hammond (Ann), grandchildren, Sam Rawlins (Erica), Will Rawlins (Rebecca), Taylor Samples (Cody) and Cortney Murray (Wayne), great-grandchildren, Ansley Rawlins, Emma Rawlins, and Hannah Rawlins, and a special friend, Zeliah Martin. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive

Services to honor the life of Mr. Guy “Punch” Hugh Hammond will take place Friday, August 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Rawlins, Rev. Danny Orr, Rev. Greg Rawlins, and Rev. Will Rawlins officiating. Interment will follow in the Sawnee View Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
