Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 6150 Pershing Avenue, Fort Worth. The family will greet friends at a reception in the Parish Hall following the service.

In 1979, Guy founded Westside Pools and Service Inc., building it into a respectable Fort Worth business and creating beautiful outdoor spaces where families can make lasting memories. He was known for his craftsmanship, integrity, and strong work ethic.
Above all, Guy was a dedicated family man. He shared 46 years of marriage with his wife, Lisa, and was a proud father to Adam and Kari and grandfather to Brixton and Wilder.
He is preceded in death by his siblings George and Nancy, and is survived by his siblings Dave, Annette, Holly, Candy, and Jamie. He was the son of Dorothy Mae Gudgeon Wood and Birdsall Julian Wood, and is also survived by a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
He will be remembered for his steady presence, strong values, and the lasting impact he made on his family and community. His legacy lives on in all who knew and loved him.
