Mrs. Gwendolyn Lucille Berlinicke, age 92, passed away Thursday July 29, 2010 at Life Care Center Nursing Home in Bardstown, KY. She was the former Gwendolyn Nunnelley and lived much of her life in Port Richey, FL. She was born March 9, 1918 in Baltimore, MD., a retired employee of Pasco County Senior Citizens Association and was once a runway model and sales clerk for Hoschell Dept. Store in Baltimore, MD. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank J. Berlinicke II, infant daughter Janice Berlinicke and daughter Rhonda Elkins, her parents James and Ella Rebecca Barger Nunnelley, three brothers: Jimmy, Ralph and Bruce Nunnelley.

She is survived by her two sons Frank Berlinicke of Cox's Creek, KY. and Phillip Berlinicke of Columbus, GA., Twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren also survive.

To any and all who knew Gwendolyn, you knew you were meeting an extraordinary woman. She was charming and generous with her hugs and smiles. The past three years we were lucky enough to have her live with our dad, after moving here from Florida. We shared many laughs, bubbles, card games and family gatherings. She may have suffered with Alzheimer's, but she was always excited to see you, even if you had been with her all day! Ha.

She has truly brought awareness of a horrible disease and yet sought to humble our small daily crisis She will be greatly missed and cherished forever in our hearts and minds. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday August 21, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at North Meadowlawn Funeral Home 4244 Madison St. New Port Richey, FL, 346752. An inurnment service will follow at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy can be sent to Frank Berlinicke, 6640 Louisville Rd., Cox's Creek, KY. 40013
