Gwendolyn June Martin graced our world for 93 years. She left us to join with God and reunite with the love of her life, her husband John, on Oct. 12, 2025.
Gwen leaves behind her children: Kathy (husband Steve), Craig (wife Linda), Stacey (husband Paul); grandchild, Christopher (wife Morgan) and great-grandchild, Lily.
Gwen's journey began in Greenville, Mich., where she, her sister, Arna, and her brother, Bruce grew up. That is where she met John and their journey together began. Later in life, they returned to Michigan and settled in Coloma.
Gwen's passions were cooking and flowers. She loved to recreate her mother's dishes and discover new ones. Her garden was filled with tulips, roses and beauty. She loved God with all her heart and was a great friend to all. Her dance card was always filled with dinners with friends, card games, square dancing, golfing, reading, British television shows and church activities, to name just a few of the many joys that filled her days.
Gwen loved her family and friends, and she was deeply loved back. She was smart, funny, caring, loving and giving. Gwen was beautiful, inside and out. She will be greatly missed by those she left behind.
