I have two of her famous The Mares and she did a pastel of a mare I had years ago. lol she charged me $50 I talked to her many times. Always sweet and gracious. I´m sadden to read of her passing. She was truly special

I was privileged to represent the Triangle Foundation and Mr. Alex Campbell when Gwen was selected to cast the bronze statues of the horses at Thoroughbred Park. Gwen worked diligently at the foundry in Arizona and elsewhere to make sure that the likeness of the statues accurately represented famous horses and jockeys. The result is a world famous Lexington attraction that will be one of her legacies. She was kind enough to autograph and write a kind message to me on a photographic print of her work. Thank you, Gwen.
