Gwendolyn "Gwen" Reardon made her transition at 91, on the 4th of March, 2024. She is survived by 2 loving daughters, Renee and Roxane Marino. Gwen's talent and background gave her the unique ability to reflect not only the physical but also the spiritual nature of the horses she sculpted and painted.
She is the creator of the life size equine bronze sculptures featured in the world renowned "Thoroughbred Park " in downtown Lexington. Her work can be found in the collections of celebrities and prominent horsemen across the globe.
Care Cremation and Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with final care.

I was privileged to represent the Triangle Foundation and Mr. Alex Campbell when Gwen was selected to cast the bronze statues of the horses at Thoroughbred Park. Gwen worked diligently at the foundry in Arizona and elsewhere to make sure that the likeness of the statues accurately represented famous horses and jockeys. The result is a world famous Lexington attraction that will be one of her legacies. She was kind enough to autograph and write a kind message to me on a photographic print of her work. Thank you, Gwen.
