John Edward Roth,66, of Georgetown, KY, who was a beloved husband, father, and brother passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025.

John was born August 26, 1959, and grew up in Hialeah, FL. John was a graduate of Miami Lakes High School and served in the United States Air Force in 1979 as a jet engine mechanic before his honorable discharge in 1985. John earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Orlando College. After raising their family in Charlotte, NC, he and his wife, Karen, relocated to Indiana before settling in Kentucky.

Throughout his life, John enjoyed working on cars and computers, improving his physical fitness, and spending time outdoors. John was a lifelong learner and always remained curious about the world.

John is survived by his wife of 35 years, Karen Gregory Roth; two children, Tyler and Jaclyn (Brock); his sister-in-law, Marsha Davis (Glen); and his furry companion, Lando.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the National Cancer Institute.

Care Cremation and Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with final care.
