Gwendolyn West Obituary
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. at Walker Memory Gardens. Darryl Gurganus will officiate.
Mrs. West was preceded in death by her Mother-Iva Speegle; Father-Clifton Speegle; Brothers-Dole Speegle, Tommy Speegle, Dennis Speegle, and Nolan Speegle; Sister-June Speegle; Grandchildren-Aaron Royster and Wesley Clifton McDuffie.
She is survived by her Husband-Thomas Larry West; Daughters-Tammy Lisa Gatlin (Baylis Joe Gatlin Jr.); Sons-Stacey Allen Royster (Tanya Royster) and Jimmy Scott Royster; Sister-Joan Royster; Brother-Doug Speegle (Trish Speegle); Grandchildren-Josh Royster, Kyle Harper, Brittany Elliott, Brad Elliott, Nicole Harper, Tyler West, Brad Elliott, Tesla West, Jamie Elliott, Hunter Grosser, Dustin Long, Chrissy Royster, Shane Smith, Amber Royster, Ashley Royster, Jimmy Jr. Royster, and Baylis Joe 'BJ' Gatlin, III, and Christina Gatlin; Great Grandchildren-Sophia Grace Long, Mia Aubre Long, Madeline Long, Asher Long, Alayna Bell West, Thomas Lander Morrison, Layla Royster, Joshua Royster, Baylis Joe Gatlin, IV, Haven Gatlin, Ayden Higgs, Serinity Higgs, Hayden Royster, and Nolan Royster.
Pallbearers will be Stacey Royster, Tyler West, Shane Smith, Dustin Long, Billy Boware and Baylis J. Gatlin.
