H. Blaine Linkous

Shirley and family: I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. It has been great knowing Blaine for the past 30 years.

Blaine oozed love and was loved by everyone he touched with his smile and kind words while showing his undivided attention to anyone who had the privilege of crossing his path. Blaine walked the walk and talked the talk. He will forever be a fond memory in many hearts. I was blessed to have known him. Dear Shirley, Sondra, Mitzy and family. I am very sorry for you loss. Mr. Blaine was one of the kindest men I have ever met. There weren't to many Sunday morning that I wasn't greeted with his infectious smile and a hug. He was a man of great faith and love. May he rest in peace with his eternal Savior.

I've had the privilege & honor of knowing Blaine Linkous for 35 years. We started out our relationship when I was a salesman for CertainTeed Insulation trying to sell Blaine insulation for his company Harford Insulation. We became fast friends & he was my #1 customer as well. That lasted for 6 years, then I went to work for another company not related to Blaine's business. During those 6 years & ever since, I & my families have been treated like a member of their family. Weddings, birthdays, births, anniversaries, vacations at the Outer Banks, NC, meals, entertainments and funerals. Through all these events one thing I would like to accentuate: Blaine was always a man of Faith, loving, kind, patient, caring, extremely generous & loving & living life, while helping others!
We will always miss him until we meet him again in Heaven above!!

He always had a big smile on his face and I enjoyed his stories. He was an exemplary family man, a pillar of the community and loved by everyone. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Shirley and family......how can you express sadness on the passing of the BEST neighbor anyone could ask for. We have been next door to you guys for 36 years. Will miss going over to the garage and just talking with Blaine about anything. I am very close and only a call away if you need anything.

Shirley, Sondra, Mitzy and family, My heart is saddened by Blaneys passing. So many years (25) living with him at Harford , so many wonderful stories to remember, His faith and family were so important. Mostly he would tell me I am going to post office, 9am and I would not see him til after lunch. then he would stand at the counter with his paring knife and eat an apple or orange. one of the nicest people anyone could ever meet..Blainey did all our work on homes we built, he was a class act..never saw him in a bad mood...he loved that MG and drove it well...the county has lost a good man, I have lost a good friend.

Shirley, Not many people can say they had the privilege of being married to the same person for 50 + years. That alone speaks volumes for the love you guys have for one another. Thank God you had each other and you will always have him in your heart. I know your girls will be there for you as well as the rest of the family. If there is anything I can do for you please know I will. Take good care of yourself!!
