Haddie Laura Rohlack, Hadassah to her mother, born October 7, 2009, in Georgetown, Texas, passed October 18, 2025, in
Tyler, Texas, after a battle this year with a rare blood disease. Services for Haddie will be held November 1, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at Shiloh Road Church of Christ with Gary Albritton officiating. Burial will follow at Cathedral of the Pines Memorial Gardens under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Those from out of town are invited to worship with us Sunday at 9:00 a.m., at Shiloh Road church of Christ.
Haddie was wonderfully unique and artistic. She loved deeply, was fiercely loyal and could not be swayed to wrong. As her aunt described, she was quite mischievous without breaking rules. One would often find her reading a fantasy novel (probably Brandon Sanderson), and when in the middle of a book, you could tell the characters were just as real to her as the people around. Not content to merely consume art, she also produced it. Haddie's love of fantasy mingles with her love of drawing, producing endless dragons and imaginary characters along with perfecting everything she drew–from people to jellyfish to mushrooms. Haddie's perfectionism drove her to improve with each drawing.
Haddie's heart for history and justice was leading her into a possible future in archeology or criminal justice. Her love for archeology started as a young child through the many hours spent exploring the Denver Nature and Science Museum. At kindergarten graduation, Haddie declared she would grow up to be a paleontologist. In recent months she looked for practical ways she could use her interests and began exploring a criminal justice career. Haddie had great plans for her future.
As much as Haddie loved fantasy and history, she loved even more to be with her family, cousins and friends. Upon moving to Tyler, she became involved in Tyler's TACHE homeschool band–playing the clarinet–along with participating in a new co-op, Ambleside Homeschool Cooperative - East Texas. What brought her the most joy in Tyler was finding deep friendship and belonging at Shiloh Road church of Christ where she met some of her closest friends Mary, Eva and Jeremiah Blackstone, all siblings, who became more like family and likely would have become literal family with time.
Haddie is survived by her parents, Keith and Angela Rohlack, her siblings, Micah and Selah, and her grandparents, Darrell and Roxanne Patschke of Taylor, Texas, and Johnny and Pam Gorhum of Jasper, Texas. She also leaves behind aunts, uncles and cousins whom she loved dearly including, Jeff and Katherine Wilhite, Nahum Patschke, Faith Patschke and Kerith Wilhite, Anna Wilhite, Bethany Wilhite and Seren Wilhite. Haddie also has a large extended family who loved her well.
The pallbearers will be Nahum Patschke, Uncle, Matthew Malish, cousin, Jeremiah Blackstone, best friend, John Conquest, cousin, Jeff Wilhite, Uncle, Martin Tucker, friend, Romeo Robles, cousin.
The Rohlack family is so grateful to their family and friends for their constant support and love during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Haddie's name to Shiloh Road church of Christ at https://pushpay.com/g/shilohroad
