Hailee Rae Friedle, 26, of Linwood, died Sunday, October 13, 2024, at McLaren Bay Region after a brief illness with her immediate family by her side. Hailee was born August 20, 1998, to Todd and Trisha Umphrey.
In her senior year of high school Hailee started dating her best friend and the love of her life, Rusty Friedle IV; the two were married on August 23, 2024, at Leaman's Back Orchard Barn in Freeland. Hailee received her Bachelors of Science degree from S.V.S.U. in 2020. In August 2024 Hailee graduated with a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Lawrence Technological University and passed her national board exam. She was about to embark on a new career with Covenant Med Express in November.
Growing up Hailee enjoyed participating in many years of competitive cheer leading with her team quite often qualifying for national competitions. Starting in 2001 Hailee also enjoyed spending almost every weekend at a seasonal campsite at Lost Valley Campground where she made many friends and many memories. In more recent years Hailee very much enjoyed fishing, hunting and many other activities with her beloved friend and husband, Rusty. Hailee and Rusty were most often seen together as they were truly soulmates. Rusty was her person.
Left to cherish Hailee's memory are her Husband Rusty, their dog Zoey, Father and Mother Todd and Trisha (MacLeod) Umphrey, Brother Joshua (Natalie) Umphrey, niece and nephew Bielle and Benton, father and Mother in-law Russ III and Jeanne (Robbins) Friedle, Brothers and Sister in-law, Jack, Riley (Callie) and Kate Friedle, Grandparents Robert Umphrey, Char Riley, Linda MacLeod, Judy Robbins, and Russ II and Marilyn Friedle.
Extended family Uncle Scott MacLeod, Aunt Kathryn MacLeod, Uncle Andy and Aunt Amy (Umphrey) Hoots, Uncle Ron and Aunt Michelle Robbins, Uncle Ross Robbins, Uncle Bob and Aunt Veronica, Uncle Mike Friedle and Aunt Shannon Forshee.
Cousins Kristopher (Julie) Ferguson, Geoff (Carrie) Ferguson (Raegan, Vinny, Ellia, and Leonah Ferguson), Chris (Amber) Hoots, Jennifer "Jenna" Hoots (Kyle Wheeler), Matt and Mitchel Robbins. Jaxen Stover, Chandler (Meghan) Lindsay (Garrison) and Ross Robbins, Jake and Brooke Friedle, Konnor Carter, and Sam Forshee. Special friends Chandler, Meghan, Lindsay, Garrison, Kennedy, Brady, Melissa, and her P.A. family from Lawrence Technological University.
Hailee was preceded in death by Grandmother Janice (Derwinski) Umphrey, Grandfather Donald MacLeod, Grandfather Ronald Robbins I and Cousin Nate Robbins.
Hailee was very down to earth and would want people that wish to visit her one last time to 'come as you are' and if you would like, please wear your favorite shade of blue.
Funeral services will take place at Rivertown Funeral Chapel, 209 S Huron Rd. Kawkawlin, MI 48631 on October 19, 2024. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm with services to follow at 7:00.
