Hailey Hilliard, 25, of Champaign, Illinois, passed away on September 4, 2025 at Deaconess Medical Center of Marion. She was born in Marion on March 17, 2000, the beloved daughter of Steven Hilliard and Teresa Chapman.
Hailey was a barefooted country girl at heart who lived life with a spirit of adventure. From a young age, she developed a love for the outdoors and for animals, especially her horses. She was an accomplished softball player in her youth, known for her skill and competitiveness on the field. Hailey also enjoyed turkey and deer hunting, gaming online, and dreaming big about all the things she wanted to do in life.
Most of all, Hailey had a tremendous love for her daughter, Audianna Adessa Lee Hilliard. She cherished every moment spent with her family and friends, who will remember her as a free spirit, a dreamer, and someone who loved fiercely.
She is survived by her daughter, Audianna Adessa Lee Hilliard; her mother, Teresa Chapman; her father, Steven Hilliard; her brother, Cameron Bond; her grandparents, Tom Hilliard and Patricia Grammer; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Susan Hilliard; her grandfather, Louie Earl Grammer; and her grandparents, Wendell and Zelphia Hilliard.
Arrangements were entrusted to Blue Funeral Home under the direction of Binkley-Ross. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Blue Funeral Home, 1704 N. Court St., Marion, Illinois. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with the service beginning at 12:00 noon, officiated by Pastor John Holst. Interment will follow at Shed Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Binkley-Ross Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses. Condolences may be left online at www.binkleyross.com.
