Hal Dewavon Duncan, 88, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022. He was born November 12, 1933, in Portageville, MO, to the late Roy Earl and Beulah (Cook) Duncan.
He married his sweetheart, Wyona (Sheedy) Duncan on November 5, 1955. He was a retired truck driver. Hal enjoyed the outdoors by fishing and hunting. He deeply loved his family.
He is survived by his wife, Wyona Duncan; one daughter, Kathleen Copeland of Wappapello; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Hal was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Hal D. Duncan, Jr and two brothers, Herschel and Robert Duncan.
A graveside service will be held Friday, February 18, 2022, at 1:00 PM in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.

Hal was my first cousin. I had the pleasure of meeting him and Wyona for the first time at a family reunion---very fine people. I was very sorry today to hear of his passing.
