It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Halie Helen Miles on October 5, 2025. She fought a courageous battle with Huntingtons Disease. Halie was surrounded by her loving husband and family when she peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father.
Halie was born on May 7, 1984, to Lori Florence and Edward Miles Jr. She grew up in Plain City Utah, and graduated from Fremont High School in 2002. It was during those years that she met the love of her life, Michael Ryan Bailey, whom she later married in 2017. Together they shared a love built on kindness, trust, and joy.
Halie had a rare gift for making others feel seen, valued, and cared for—whether through her gentle touch, her laughter, or her steadfast support. To those blessed to know her, she was a source of light, comfort, and unconditional love. Her vibrant soul and adventurous heart, will never be forgotten.
Halie loved camping and spending time outdoors, where her spirit was most free. She loved spending time with her family most.
Halie will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Ryan Bailey; her mother, Lori Florence, father, Edward Miles Jr, stepdad, David Florence, sisters, Alicia Reinier, Kallie Miles (Scott Shepherd), Kaycie Tucker (Nick), brother Justin Florence (Corinne), two step sisters Micky Florence and Tiffany Conorich and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her absence leaves a space that can never be filled. Though we are heartbroken, we take comfort in knowing she is free from pain and embraced in the arms of our Heavenly Father.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S. Friends may visit with family from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
