Hannah Blizard Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Clark Funeral Home - Neosho on Dec. 23, 2025.
Hannah Lee Blizard passed away suddenly on December 20, 2025, in Monett, Missouri, at the age of 30 years old. She was born on April 23, 1995, in Aurora, Missouri to Charles and Shelagh (Womble) Blizard.

Hannah grew up spending her younger years in Stella. She attended schools in Stella, Purdy, and Monett. She was a fearless and carefree spirit. She loved nature and spending time outdoors. She looked forward to warm weather so she could go fishing, kayaking, camping, and floating. Her favorite place in the world was the stretch of Little Sugar between Big Rock and Sugar Island. She loved to spend the day with family and friends, on the water, and just as much time stopping and hiking, before hopping back in her boat and going on down the creek.

Hannah was famous for being clumsy and forgetful. A trait that not only entertained those around her but also endeared her to them. She once tripped over a painted line on the gym floor, she was that clumsy.

She was an animal lover. She loved all animals and tried to befriend them. She loved life, embracing the chance to be a little different and express herself through her hair. You never knew what color it might be. She loved changing it and trying new looks. Friends of Hannah's started a Facebook movement called Color the World in honor of her and her bold hair colors.

She loved sunflowers and her job. She was an awesome mom to Luke. She was proud to be a ghetto hillbilly, wearing her old cowboy boots all the time, even with her sundresses. She had no rhythm and didn't care. She was outgoing and always the life of the party. If there was a good time to be had, she was there, and if there wasn't, she made it.

Hannah is survived by her three-month-old son, Luke Alan Mellow, whom she loved with all her heart, her parents Shelagh Halsema of Neosho, Missouri, and Charles Blizard of Marshfield, Missouri; one brother Colton Blizard and his wife Coren of Neosho, Missouri; three cousins Tristan Williams, Macey Breeding, and Gannon Clevenger. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Sharon Wilson.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 9:00-11:00am at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Neosho, Missouri.
