We gather today to honor the remarkable life of Harendra Patel, a spirited and compassionate man whose laughter and love left a deep imprint on all who knew him. Born on March 2, 1940, in the vibrant city of Cambay, Gujarat, India, Harendra's journey was a testament to resilience, joy, and the enduring power of family. His 86 years were filled with an abundance of love and shared experiences that shaped the lives of everyone he encountered.

Harendra was a pillar of strength, a beacon of light, and a source of endless laughter. His loving nature and keen sense of humor touched the hearts of many and left an indelible mark on the lives he touched. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and grandfather who cherished his family above all else. Married in 1970, he was the proud father of Dhawal, Dhruma, Shilpa, and Falguni. His joy was multiplied with the birth of his beloved grandchildren, Disha and Shubh. As Robert Browning once said, "Take away love and our earth is a tomb." Harendra's love was the heartbeat of his family, a pulse that will continue to resonate and inspire.

In his professional life, Harendra was a dedicated packaging administrator. He retired in 2005, after years of steadfast service. His hard work, determination, and integrity were the hallmarks of his career. Through his work, he taught his family the value of commitment and the joy of achievement. He was often heard saying, "Work is worship", a mantra he lived by tirelessly.

We bid a heartfelt farewell to Harendra, who was preceded in death by his parents, Jamnadas and Chandenben Patel. His spirit, however, lives on in his loving family and the countless memories that they carry in their hearts. He will forever be remembered as a beacon of love, laughter, and compassion.
