Dale was born to Harley and Nora Cox on March 11, 1956, in Oklahoma City. Early in life he moved to Valliant. While growing up there he developed a love for everything outdoors and it was also there that he gained his passion for family values. Dale enjoyed cars, motorcycles, hunting and fishing. He loved going on family trips because family was a big thing to him.

Shortley after he graduated high school he started working for the Oklahoma City Water Department. Starting at the bottom and working his way to the top as Plant Engineer, Dale worked for the city for 31 years.

Along the way he meet the love of his life Brenda (Harris) Cox, whom he married in 1988, and they have been happily married ever since. Dale and Brenda had three kids who he loved so very much.

Dale loved life and his biggest pleasure came from spending time with his family and passing on to them his many years of wisdom and knowledge. Dale was a big kid at heart and was truly a blessing, a loving husband and Dad. He will be forever missed by all who know him.

Dale is survived by his amazing wife of 38 years Brenda Cox, son Jeremy Cox and his wife Tiffani, his brother, friend and mentor Jim Cox and Jim's wife Nancy, his brother Perry Cox and wife Debbie. Grandkids Baylee and her husband Joseph Leigh, Tyler, Dakota, Braden, Morgan, Mason and Jaxen, and a few great grandkids. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins that were all very special to him.
