Harley James Herron, age 66, of Coon Rapids, IA, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025 at his residence surrounded by family.
Harley was born on January 22, 1959 in Carroll, IA. He was the son of Beryl A. and Margaret (Whalley) Herron. He grew up in Coon Rapids where he graduated from high school. Harley was a heavy equipment operator over the years and most recently for Mc Annich Construction and an over the road trucker for Pingery Trucking. He enjoyed life to the fullest especially socializing with his friends and family.
Harley is survived by his children, siblings, and other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and two sisters.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
