Kendall Paul Dickman, age 65, of Coon Rapids, IA, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at his home in Coon Rapids.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Ascension Lutheran Church in Coon Rapids with John Kult officiating. Casket bearers will be Neil VanZweden, Johnathan Hagen, Michael Moore, Zebulon Smith, Austin Smith, Andrew VanZweden, Caleb Hagen, and Chase Dickman. Honorary casket bearers will be Joseph Dickman, Kylee Dickman, and Riley Dickman. Burial will be in the Orange Township Cemetery in rural Coon Rapids.
Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service at the Ascension Lutheran Church in Coon Rapids.

Kendall was born on February 29, 1960 in Cherokee, IA, and he was the son of Virgil and Melva (Harrison) Dickman. He attended Odebolt-Arthur Community School before transferring to Coon Rapids High School graduating with the Class of 1979. On August 21, 1982, he was united in marriage to Lisa Allen at the River House in Coon Rapids. They were blessed with two sons Justin and Jonathan. He was employed for the Garst Farms working for over 20 years. Kendall then worked for Beck’s Seed in Coon Rapids until he retired in 2023. In his younger years, Kendall was an outdoorsman where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood cutting, and gardening. In his later years, he enjoyed his Sunday drives but most of all he cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Kendall is survived by his wife Lisa Dickman of Coon Rapids; mother Melva Dickman of Coon Rapids; mother-in-law Lois Allen of Galva; daughter-in-law Joni Dickman of Coon Rapids; grandchildren: Joseph Dickman of Oskaloosa, Kylee Dickman, and Riley Dickman both of Coon Rapids; brothers and sisters: Peggy, Stan, Gary, and Sharlene; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Laura Moore (Mike), Kelli VanZweden (Neil), Traci Hagen (Johnathan); several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Kendall is preceded in death by his sons, Justin Dickman and Jonathan Dickman; father Virgil Dickman; father-in-law Russell Allen; and brother-in-law Michael Gingery.
