Harmon Joseph "Joey" Kelley

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harmon Joseph (Joey) Kelley. He was born December 12, 1964 and went to Heaven January 2, 2026. He was the oldest of six children.

Joey loved the outdoors. He worked in lawn and landscaping services which he loved dearly, working with a few businesses in town including Al's Lawns, Keith High Cuts, Blue Collar, City of St Augustine and his own Harmon Kelley's Quality Lawns. He moved to Texas and worked with his uncles in various projects and also a lumber company. He returned to FL and continued his lawn service.

He was a workaholic just as his daddy was. He enjoyed sitting with his Papa in his open shed talking and solving problems a few hours at the time. His granny was his rock knowing he could depend on her for anything possible.

Joey became sick and entered hospice care January 7, 2025. He became a little stronger and wanted to visit other residences of the nursing home to encourage positivity and to work on their own therapy as he did. He was a precious soul and will be missed terribly, especially by his Aunt Pam who was close to him.

Joey was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Papa Harmon and Granny Eunice Dubose, hs paternal grandparents Joe Kelley and Dora Lee Edenfield, step grandfather G W Edenfield, Aunt Wilma Robinson and Uncle Larry Dubose.

He is survived by Aunt Pam and Uncle Tom(TC) Hamilton of St Augustine FL, Uncle Frank (Tiffany) Dubose of Normangee Texas, Aunt Teresa Dubose of Texas, his daughters

Sarah (Andy) Gordy of Thorndale Texas and Cassandra (Robert) Clark, three grandchildren Mason, Grayson and Colten Clark all of Kingsland Texas. Sisters Josie (Jayson) Hadley and Peggy Jo (Shawn) Hand, Brother Joe (Lacie) Kelley, Step- Mother Peggy Kelley, all of St Augustine FL. Nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held January 30, 2026 at 1:00 The Mausoleum Chapel at the north end of Craig Memorial Park, tan building with Pastor Ben Boles of Homeport Christian Church officiating.

We would like to thank Parkridge Nursing Center in Jacksonville and St Augustine Health and Rehab St Augustine for their caring hearts and hands in taking care of our Joey.
