Harold "Gene" Arnold

Harold "Gene" Arnold, age 85, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. Gene was a faithful member of St Martin of Tours Episcopal Church. He was a devoted TN VOLS sports fan and rarely missed the opportunity to cheer them on. Above all, Gene loved his family and friends. He cherished the times spent with those closest to him and had a special place in his heart for his grandson Harrison, who brought him great joy. Gene will be remembered for his loyalty, warmth and the love he shared with all that knew him.

Gene is preceded in his death by his parents, Roy and Elizabeth Arnold; sister, Nancy Wolfe; brothers, Bob Arnold and Gary Arnold.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dorathy "Dot" Arnold; daughter, Stephanie (Mike) Davis; sister, Darlene (Lloyd) Taylor; grandson, Harrison (Hailey) Davis, nieces and nephews .

The family will receive friends from 2:00 ~ 3:00 PM, Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at the funeral home. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Father Ashton Sims officiating. Interment will be in Anderson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to St Martin of Tours Episcopal Church or Hospice of Chattanooga.
