I have so many memories and have already posted them in the guest book. My thoughts turn to all of you, the Bean family, as you celebrate your father, your grandfather, your friend today.
I won´t be there in person as my mobility won´t allow us I am there in heart and spirit. I like all of you will miss this tremendous person who has touched so many lives in amazing ways. Know I there today Bud. Your loving friend,

To the entire Beam Family and all those who loved Bud,
Our thoughts and prayers will continue for everyone! A life very well lived. We have so many fond memories of both Bud and Norma throughout the decades with beautiful family gatherings celebrating all sorts of wonderful occasions. They raised an AMAZING family who will continue the legacy!
May your happy memories provide comfort and strength!
Rest in Peace Bud!

To say knowing Bud was a blessing is an understatement. Friendship comes at different times in our lives. My friendship with Bud came about as we both were involved with the Senior Living Center at Ideal and entity of UHS. He had the role of finance and audit chair and I served as board chair. I´m not sure who at times was leading the charge. When Bud had something to say he just would say it even if we were discussing something else. He was a keen business man, a caring man. Often we stay behind and talked. He loved asking questions in attempting to get to know you better. He always talked about his wife with such admiration and deep love. Family was certainly number one with him..
He had a great love for UHS his dedication spanned over 50 years. He was such a great mentor to me personally as I learned so much from him. I will miss our times taking about Ideal but more importantly I will miss our talks about life, its meaning and our families. We would talk on the phone when he was at Elderwood and he shared with me that the called him "The Mayor" and I replied that fits you Bud. I´m sure he touched a lot of lives by the telling of his stories and his zest for life.
I will miss you Bud Beam. .

I met Bud only within the past year or so while visiting my mom at Elderwood. I was amazed to hear about his incredible life and career. He was always kind and pleasant to talk to, even taking time to talk to my son about school, etc. My best to your family, Bud... you will be missed.
