Harold L. Bryant, "Lane", age 101 of Clermont, GA, passed away peacefully at home Friday, November 14, 2025. Lane was born on December 2, 1923 in Fieldale, VA, the oldest child of Giles Stanton and Nettie Bryant. He was a WWII veteran of the Navy and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Clermont.

Lane was a classic gentleman and proud member of the "Greatest Generation" of Americans who experienced depression and war. As an aircraft mechanic for over 40 years, he was a genuine "Mr. Fix-It" and could truly fix anything. He was quiet and patient, exhibiting great strength and kindness in all his endeavors. His love of family may be surpassed only by his love of beating family members in games of croquet! A prolific gardener, he grew heirloom tomatoes just for the opportunity to give them away. He never raised his voice to make a point, relying instead on his actions to speak for him.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Rose Nolen Bryant, who passed in 2020 at the age of 90. He is survived by two sons, Dale E. Bryant, St. Louis, MO, David L. (Cindy) Bryant, Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Charles Lane Bryant, Nolen Belle Bryant, and Adeline Grace Bryant – who all refer to him as "Papa Lane".

A drop-in visitation to celebrate Lane will be held December 11 from 4pm to 6pm at Trinity United Methodist Church, Clermont, GA.. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Trinity United Methodist Women, P.O. Box 100, Clermont, GA 30527 in memory of Mr. Lane Bryant.
