Harold "Butch" Robinson Jr. Obituary
Harold “Butch” Robinson Jr. of Duluth, MN, age 63, passed away on May 5th, 2024.
He was born February 17th, 1961, in Duluth, MN where he grew up. Butch worked as a custodian for Duluth Public Schools. Later, he worked for the City of Duluth in the water and gas department.
Butch enjoyed fishing, photography, driving around, and collecting lighthouses, often driving to Michigan to look at lighthouses while visiting Britney. He loved being able to watch the harbor from his house, the ships coming and going, and listening to music from Bayfront. He enjoyed watching Minnesota sports teams, especially hockey. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, especially Pierre, who was always helping him.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Harold “Duane” Robinson, and brothers, Pat and Mike.
Butch will be forever missed and remembered by his mom, Trudy Robinson; daughters, Laura Sever and Britney Harris; brother, Brian Robinson; sisters, Gayle (Dave) Daniel and Cheryl (Jim) Van Guilder; and his 5 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 10th at 10 am, with funeral service to follow at 11 am at Peace United Church of Christ (1111 N. 11th Ave E., Duluth, MN 55805). Luncheon and interment to follow.
