Harold Gene Carpenter, age 69 of New Castle passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025. Harold retired from Ford Motor Company after serving 28 years. He was a member of the LaGrange Christian Church. Harold loved riding motorcycles, watching old Westerns and eating sweets. He also loved spending time with family, especially his grandkids. He was the son of the late Wilburn & Christine (Cartmill) Carpenter and was preceded by a sister, Peggy (Carpenter) Profumo.

Daughters: Melissa Wigglesworth (Barry) of Sarasota, FL
Casey Lamar O’Connell (David) of Crestwood
Son: Raymond Prueitt of Cincinnati, OH
Brothers: Donald Carpenter (Joyce) of LaGrange
Robert Carpenter (Wanda) of Louisville
4 Grandchildren: Ethereal Siegel (Alex), Heavyn O’Connell, Nathan Prueitt & Mylah O’Connell
Funeral Service: 2 PM Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Officiated by Rev. Lonnie Hardin and Tracy Tucker.
Interment: New Castle Cemetery
Memorial Contributions: American Cancer Society
Visitation: 12 Noon Tuesday until service time on August 5, 2026 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
