Harold Denenberg
May 30, 1937 - December 28, 2024
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Harold Denenberg, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Born on May 30, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA, Harold was the middle child of Herman and Goldie Denenberg. A graduate of West Philadelphia High School, he continued his education at Temple University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Harold, who worked as a pharmacist until his retirement, enjoyed the rapport he had with many of his customers.
He was married to his beloved wife, Charlotte, for fifty-four years. After starting their life together in Philadelphia, they soon moved to Bucks County, where they now have deep roots in Yardley and Langhorne. Harold enjoyed traveling and was a gardening and fitness enthusiast. He was known for his intelligence, his kindness, and his omnipresent smile.
Harold is survived by Charlotte, his daughters Lori Herz (Eric Herz) and Helaine Denenberg (Jonathan Klawans), and his grandchildren Ari, Gabriel, and Elijah Klawans. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Harold was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Marvin Denenberg (Marlene), and his sister, Marcia Gildar (Daniel).
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service Monday, at precisely 11:30 AM at Goldsteins' Rosenberg's Funeral Directors Suburban North, 310 2nd Street Pike Southampton, PA 18966. Interment Montefiore Cemetery.
Donations in Harold’s memory can be made to Congregation Beth El of Yardley or the Alzheimer's Association.
