Harold Enos

Harold Enos, 94, of Penn Yan, passed away at home surrounded by family Friday, February 27, 2026.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Harold was born on January 22, 1932, in Penn Yan, the son of George and Viola Enos.

He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Emogene; brothers, Kenneth, Howard (Alice), Gerald (Ellen), Gordon Enos; and sisters, Oletha (Bob) Rugg and Shirley (Raymond) Anderson.

He is survived by his son, Steve (Marilyn); daughters, Cindy (Gary) Bradley and Pam (Don) Moyer; grandchildren, Nicholas (Lauren), Michael (Megan), Kaitlyn and Andrea Bradley, Nichole, Kristen and Sean Enos; great grandchildren, Emma, Owen, Walter, Henry, Grayson and Finn Bradley, and Cayden Enos; sister-in-law, Alma Enos, and many nieces and nephews.

Harold was an avid learner and always interested in his family's lives. He had a great love for his family. He started out as a dairy farmer on his family farm until it was sold. That led him to various jobs whether it was driving truck for Don Frarey or the Town of Milo Highway Department before working for Penn Yan Express for almost 30 years. After his retirement he built a home overlooking Keuka Lake for him and Emogene when they weren't wintering in Zephyrhills, Florida. They loved to travel with their fifth wheel. There were so many fun family vacations that we remember to this day. Beyond carpentry he was a licensed pilot, which included a seaplane rating. He loved to read and play golf, continuing to play from the white tees even in his 80s. He had a quick wit and a sparkle in his eyes. He played the guitar and banjo, and never turned down a game of cards or Bingo with his great grandchildren. Through all the ups and downs, he continued to cheer on his beloved Mets, the Bills and SU. He will be greatly missed by his family.
