Harold Eugene Grigson

Harold Eugene Grigson, age 86, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on Monday March 2, 2026. He was born on September 7, 1939, in Concord, Kentucky and was the son of Fletcher and Ladvs Marie (Lawhorn) Grigson. Harold married Ruby Ann (Baumgartner) Grigson on September 14, 1970. He was employed by Dura for 32 years until their closing, later retiring from Johnson Control in 2002 then working for Hirzel's. Harold was a member of the Word of Truth Christian church for many years.

He lived a life rooted in faith and devoted to Christ. He loved sharing the love and word of our savior, Jesus Christ and found comfort in prayer, strength in scripture, and peace in the promises of eternal life. He was always there to offer prayer and words of comfort to whomever needed it.

Harold loved his family and was a devoted husband to his wife Ruby for over 55 years. Together they enjoyed their farm and all the many farm animals they raised throughout the years. He leaves his children and grandchildren with cherished times down on the farm. He will always be remembered for his witty sense of humor.

Harold is survived by his beloved wife Ruby, sons, Paul (Trina) Grigson, James Sandy) Grigson, John (Denise Grigson), daughter Pamela (Jeff) Kopke, 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and brother Phillip Dale (Gloria Grigson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Jewell Grigson. Alice Grigson, Betty Grigson Corns, Christine Grigson Vance, Judy Grigson Sparks, Agness Grigson Clark and brothers Ancil Grigson, Alford Grigson and Norman Grigson.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 5, 2026 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Road, Rossford, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 11:00 at the funeral home. The interment will be held at Lake Township Cemetery 3550 Walbridge Road, Millbury, Ohio.
