After graduation and marriage to Emma, he began employment at Convair-Astronautics working on the Atlas booster missiles. He had an illustrious career working on missiles, bombers, drones, and aircrafts. Later he entered the commercial electronic business and brought "modern, everyday" devices to life like pulse windshield wipers, bar codes and high-speed printers.
Harold is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years who he says "was the best thing that ever happened to me", and his daughter Sheryl. He is survived by his daughter Debbie Tegart (husband Michael), three granddaughters and their families along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation at 2pm and Celebration of Life service at 3pm, will be held at Emmanual Lutheran Church, Kettering Ohio on September 24, 2025.
Donations, in lieu of flowers may be given to Ohio's Hospice (www.ohiohospice.org/give) or Emmanual Lutheran Church.
