Loving wife of 30 years to the late Howard Hankins;
Beloved mother of Jennifer (Raul Rivera) Hankins, Tom Grohman and the late Steve Grohman; Grandmother of Alyssa Grohman, Avery Koprowski and Isaac Rivera; Great-grandmother of Mailyn and Noah.
Sister to Gerald Rizzuto, the late Ernest Rizzuto and the late John Rizzuto.
Sharon was born and raised in Blue Island, Illinois where she attended Mother of Sorrows High School, worked at St Francis Hospital and was a faith-filled member of St Benedict Church. She loved holidays and decorating for them, especially Halloween and Christmas. She had many lifelong friends. Sharon loved everyone and would always help anyone in need. She was as close to a saint as one could be. Visitation Saturday at the Hickey Memorial Chapel 2429 W. 127th St. Blue Island, IL 9:00 AM till time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
