Joann was a life long resident of Blue Island. She was founder and owner of Spiritual Revolution & an ordained minister who gracefully lived her gifted life in service to helping others. She combined her brilliant mind & intuitive gifts to study diverse religions and philosophies, healing & spiritual traditions to help others find their true paths & healing in their lives. Joann gave from the want & love of her heart & listened with the ear of her heart; she would always even as a child, want to help & give to someone in need.
She loved animals & was a loving "cat mom," to Georgette, Callie & Mister. She had a natural talent for music. Joann would hear her organ teacher, play a song & then play it back without reading the music. Joann also was an amazing singer & fabulous inspiring artist who painted majestic landscapes & animals. She was also an inspirational writer.
Joann was an ordained minister, Reiki Master/Teacher, Intuitive Healer, Spiritual Life Coach as well as workshop & retreat facilitator. After graduating from Eisenhower High School in Blue Island Joann worked alongside her sister Carol at Carol's By the Scoop Ice Cream shop. She moved on & worked for several years at The Respiratory Health Association of Metro Chicago, before entering her Intuitive & Spiritual Healing & Counseling vocations
One of her favorite quotes was from Edith Wharton, "There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it." Joann had a great love for the Our Lady of Lourdes & St. Bernadette & chose Bernadette as her Confirmation name. She believed her Guardian Angel was her guide, & prayed to St. Rita of Cascia, St. Padre Pio & St.Therese Lisieux.
She was the cherished sister to Donna, Carol & Patricia Morrone, Lawrence (Cheryl) Morrone Jr. Beloved aunt to Stephanie (Dan) Morrone Basalone, Amanda Morrone (Paul Carrano), Great Aunt to Dan Jr. & Nicholas. Loving niece to Elizabeth (Morrone) Cunningham, beloved & dear cousin to many & a truly loving & devoted friend, healer & counselor to so many people from all walks of life
She was the loving daughter of the late Eleanor (Dantonio) Morrone & the late Lawrence Morrone. Beloved sister, to the late Diana Marie Morrone. Sweet granddaughter to Susie (Sisco) & Fred Morrone, & Carmella (Martino) & Dan Dantonio. Niece & cousin to many aunts, uncles & cousins who preceded her in death.
