Harold Latour Hattersley II (Bubba Howie), 64 of Portland, Texas passed away on November 4, 2025. Harold was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 9, 1961. He attended Gregory Portland Schools until his parents moved to Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela where he attended the International School and received his high school diploma through the University of Nebraska. He later attended Southwest Texas State University. Harold had a passion for all things golf and BBQ and enjoyed his years working at North Shore Country Club. He cherished spending time with his friends and family which often included him cooking for them.
He was preceded in death by his parents John G. and JoAnn (Isabel) Hattersley, his sisters Sandra C. Bailey, Jacque A. Sanders, Julia Nan Beck, and his brother William Kevin Hattersley. He is survived by his brothers, Michael Hattersley of Hot Springs, Ark, and Patrick J. (Julie) Hattersley of Beeville, Texas and sister Mary H. Howard of Beeville, Texas as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
