He was born in Bronx, New York to Harold and Greta Hayhurst.
Harold graduated from Newton High School in Newton, New Jersey. After high school Harold enlisted into the United States Navy. He served during the Vietnam War from 1971-1975 as a Machinist Mate. After his military career, Harold became an electrician and worked in both Virginia and California before moving to Florida.
In his youth, Harold had a love for motorcycles and enjoyed being on the open road.
He was a believer in Yahshua as his Messiah.
Harold leaves behind his sister Valeria Mangeot (Mark), brother William Hayhurst, several nieces & nephews, and great-nieces & great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's in Harold's name.
Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
