Harold "Joe" Houdashelt, 80, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024. Joe was a devoted family man who cherished his time hunting, fishing, camping, and competing in baseball and softball. He also enjoyed gardening and volunteering for the Wichita River Festival. Joe proudly served six years in the Army National Guard and was a dedicated Mason. He retired from a fulfilling career at Boeing.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary.
Joe was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce Ann Houdashelt; his step-son, Steven Bradbury; his sister, Beverly; and his parents, Cecil and Margaret Houdashelt.
He is survived by his sons, Andrew "Andy" (Kim) Houdashelt of Tulsa, OK, and Aaron (Christina) Houdashelt of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Brady (Daniel) Houdashelt, Chase (Kaycie) Houdashelt, Drake (Sarah) Houdashelt, Elaine (Ryan) Williams, Taylor Stutes, Kennedy (Ryan) Jones, and Ian Smith; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Folds of Honor, Department 13, Tulsa OK, 74182.
