Harold Doyle Jones

JONES, Harold Doyle, age 79, of King William, Va., went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 5, 2010. Survivors include his beloved wife of 56 years, Marindia Lashley Jones with whom he had two daughters and four sons, Joy Jones Check and her husband, Timothy, Grace Jones Herrera and her husband, Mark, Roy Jones and his wife, Janet, Wayne Jones and his wife, Judy, Harold Eugene Jones and his wife, Sherri, and Steven Jones and his wife, Nichole. He has one surviving brother, Hullett Jones; 21 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, other extended family members and many friends who will miss him deeply until reunited. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2010, at B.W. White Funeral Home, 7837 Richmond Tappahannock Highway, Aylett, Virginia 23009. Funeral services will be held at Sharon Baptist Church, 901 Sharon Road, King William, Virginia 23086, at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010. Officiating the services will be his friend and pastor, Rev. Lytle Buckingham. Interment will be in the church cemetery immediately following the funeral services. In lieu of flowers, donations to the "World Hunger Fund" program through Sharon Baptist Church will be appreciated.
