Harold R. Moose

1935 - 2025

Harold R. "Sonny" Moose, of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025. He was born in Export on Aug. 14, 1935, the son of the late Harold E. and Myrtle (Remaley) Moose. Harold was an active member of St. John's Harrold's UCC. He was also a 32nd-degree member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. He enjoyed dirt track racing and NASCAR races as well as playing baseball and cards but most importantly enjoyed family get-togethers. Prior to his retirement, Harold worked as an automotive salesman. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his son, Greg Moose; as well as his siblings, Ronald and Shirley. Harold will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 68 years, Yvonne (Bortz) Moose; as well as his children, Don (Leigh) Moose; and daughter-in-law, Sharon Moose. Harold was a proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Brittany (Chas), Barrett (Chelsea), Tori (Tyler), Ryan (Corrin), and Parker; and also his great-grandchildren, Adalynn, Elita, Aerie, Kacey, Dominic, Brooklyn, Trip, and Caleigh, whom he cared for deeply.
