Harold Nelson Obituary
Harold was a carpenter by trade, working many years for Carpenters' Union Local 12, as well as his own construction company. After retiring Harold, and the love of his life, Annie, moved to Beaver River Station in the Adirondacks. Harold could light up any room with his infectious personality and ability to mesmerize you with a joke. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the great outdoors, playing cards, and going to the casino. However, what he enjoyed most was spending time with his friends and family, who lovingly called him Bampi. He didn't miss an opportunity to be at any social gathering. He cherished time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Harold is predeceased by his wife Anne V. Forbes Nelson, and two sisters Sheila and Marilyn.
Harold is survived by his daughter, Valerie Fowler (William) of Sandy Creek, two sons, Harold Jr. (Jessica) of Pulaski and Douglas (Jeff) of Brewerton, his grandchildren Katelyn Taylor (Joseph), Koby Fowler (Giovanna), Harold 3rd, Piper and Winter Nelson, Tessila and Kevien Abbott, and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3p.m., Thursday, February 5th at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski. Calling hours will be held from noon to 3 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends are invited to a reception, immediately following the memorial service, to continue the celebration of Harold at 11 North Bar & Grill, 5233 US Route 11, Pulaski, NY 13142.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at Morning Star Rehab Nursing Home. Contributions can be made to in Harold's name may be made to the Pulaski- Boylston Snowmobile Club, 5001 North Jefferson Street, Pulaski, NY 13142 or the Pulaski Community Cupboard, 12 Bridge Street, Pulaski, NY 13142.

My deepest condolences to the family of Harold Nelson our friend, and great story teller. Dilford and I spent many hours on our front porch with Harold listening to his stories of his life. We could feel the love for his precious Annie, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We were welcomed to our cabin every spring by Harold tooting his horn and waving to welcome us "home." We loved him.
