Harold "Bud" Noordt

Harold "Bud" Noordt, age 89, passed away at Mayo Clinic in Bloomer on Monday, April 24, 2023. He was born on August 27, 1933 in Morrison IL to Harry and Kate (Vos) Noordt. He married Jean DeVries on October 4, 1957. While serving in the Army as a transport mechanic Bud and Jean traveled through Europe together for 2 years before moving back to Illinois. Bud retired from Carstensen Freight Line as a truck driver after 40 years of service. They moved to Arizona and lived there for 29 years before moving to New Auburn in 2022 to live with Cindy. Together they traveled across the United States in their RV and with the I & I Antique Car Club. Bud enjoyed carpentry and was a car enthusiast, filling his garage with antiques and Motor Trend Magazines. Bud was a loving and generous man who enjoyed spending time with his family and his many friends.
He is survived by his wife of over 65 years Jean; daughter: Cindy (James) Uthe of New Auburn; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son: Raymond Noordt; brother: Donald Noordt
