Harold Rumph Sr.

Harold Rumph Sr., 74, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, New Jersey.

Born on July 8, 1951, in Trenton, New Jersey, Harold was born and raised in Trenton by his loving grandmother, Emma Jones. Harold remained deeply connected to his roots and family throughout his life.

Harold was predeceased by his beloved wife, Patricia Rumph.

He leaves behind his loving children: Karen, Sharon, Darren, Teresa, Charles, Matthew, Harold Jr, Karlita "Karl", James, Holly, and Jovan.

He was also a proud grandfather to many grandchildren, whom he loved dearly and who brought him great joy.

Harold will be remembered for his strong work ethic and the many unforgettable and often "crazy" stories he loved to share with family and friends.

In his later years, he unfortunately became bedridden, but he never complained about his circumstances. Instead, he continued to focus on what mattered most to him, his family.

He always asked about his loved ones and was deeply appreciative of being in the presence of his friends and family.

Harold's strength, resilience, and love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him. His family will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.

Funeral service will be 12pm Monday, March 23, 2026 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be at Colonial Memorial Park.
