Mr. Harold Ray Sage, 92, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born on March 27, 1933, in Danville Virginia to the late George Sage and Bonnie Wilson Sage. Harold proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked as an Aviation Engineer for U.S. Air for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and making his own fishing lures. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Venice Vester Campbell Sage, one sister, Madeline Fouts and husband Joe, and one son, Tony Sage and wife Carolyn. He is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Osborne and Norma West (Bill), two sons, Howard Osborne (Linda), and Douglas Osborne, eleven grandchildren, Patrick Dezarn, Hannah Dezarn, Candice, Patrick and Derrick West, Kendall and Chad Sage, Laura Melvin (Andy), Allen Osborne, John-Paul Osborne, and Allen Tuttle, six great-grandchildren, Trinity Hayes, Jade Jenkins, Blake, Elizabeth and Amelia Melvin, and Sephira Sage, one sister, Mary Lou White (David), and one brother, George Sage (Mary Charles) and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday January 29, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Hall officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel and Gardens at 12:00 PM Wednesday February 11, 2026.
