Harold Lewis Simpson, 80, of Lexington passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025. Born April 27, 1945, he was the son of the late James and Irene Brown Simpson. In addition to his parents, Harold was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth McAllister Simpson, and son, Robert Eugene Simpson. Harold was a heavy equipment operator. He was a Master Mason and a member of Robert M. Sirkle # 954 and a member of the Oleika Shriners Hospital, both in Lexington. Harold is survived by his son, Timothy Wayne Simpson (Gwen Collins) of Lexington; sister, Sue Carol Morris of Paris; 2 grandchildren, Joshua Robert Simpson and Amber Nicole Simpson, both of Florida; and niece, Shelly Morris of Paris. Visitation is 5-8 PM Wednesday with Masonic Service scheduled for 7 PM Wednesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home, 5590 KY HWY 4121, Hustonville, KY 40437. Funeral Service will be at 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home officiated by Rev. Tim Mills. Burial will follow at Hustonville Cemetery. Pallbearers are David McAllister, Todd Villars, Greg Carlton, Mike Young, Dennis Rose, and Todd Durbin. Honorary pallbearer is Dennis Gambrel. A Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
