Harold Stone

Harold L. "Pete" Stone, age 61 of Waynesfield, died at 2:12 a.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at his home. He was born October 8, 1955 in Quincy, Kentucky the son of the late Flemon and Mary Smith Stone. On August 19, 1978 he married Geraldine DiDonato, who survives in Waynesfield. Mr. Stone had worked at Hancor and was a U. S. Navy Veteran. His hobbies included fishing and working on cars. Also surviving are 2 daughters - Danielle (Larry) Kimmel of Lima; Jennifer Littlefield of Euclid, OH; a granddaughter - Skye Madison Littlefield; 2 brothers - Flemon (Cora) Stone of Bucyrus, OH; Jimmy (Lucille) Stone of Nevada, OH; a sister - Vicky (Bud) Topper of Bucyrus, OH. He was preceded in death by 4 sisters - Rosetta Butler, Caroline Hurst, Ann Oliver, and Vernie Baumgardner. A memorial service will begin 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Waynesfield Baptist Church, Waynesfield. Pastor Don Smith will officiate. Military rites will be observed by V.F.W. Post 8445 of Wapakoneta. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or Waynesfield Baptist Church.
